What if?

What if?

Imagine an alternate world where you change a historical event and speculate what the world would look like given this difference.

What would your world look like today if the nazis had won the second world war?

9 reaktioner till “What if?”

  1. What would have happened if an apple didn’t fall on Issac Newton?

We would certainly not had the benefit of one of the great minds of the history of science. It’s hard to say how much time it would have taken to achieve Newton’s achievements without Newton. But it’s clear there would have been some delay!!!

  2. What if JFK wasn’t assassinated. Maybe America would have been different, but hit or miss? I guess they never miss huh? I wanna be tracer but nerf bastion. Mwah.

  3. If the Nazis had won the war i think more countries would have gotten involved. Either joining Hitler to get some of his power or fight against him. Whatever the outcome would be the wage gaps and poverty would be at extreme heights. I do think eventually a lot of smaller countries that had been invaded would become outposts for Germany

  4. What if drugs were legal, I think it would be much more drugs of course. And much more drug sellers, but what everybody wanna know would it be fewer criminals and shooting in our world. I think that it wouldn’t be any different, maybe even easier for the criminals.

  5. what if nazi won the second world war. I would probably never have moved to Sweden because maybe Sweden would be controlled by the nazis and would not be the same as it is now. If we still lived in my home country and it still got attacked by America I would probably be dead or maybe have moved to another country. The nazi would have total control over Europe and maybe the USA, then we all would be doomed except German people. All of the jews would probably be killed by the nazi and they would sooner or later kill other people who has a nationality they didn’t like.

  6. If there was no Mutual defense Alliances between countries in Europe, Asia and Japan the world world 1 Haden’t been happen. The countries through out Europe made mutual defense agreements that would pull them into battle. These treaties meant that if one country was attacked, allied countries were bound to defend them. Example of alliances existed are
Rusia and Serbia, Germany and Austria-Hungary, France and Rusia, Japan and Britain

Austria-Hungary declared war on Serbia, Russia got involved to defend Serbia. Germany seeing Russia mobilizing, declared war on Russia. France was then drawn in against Germany and Austria-Hungary. Germany attacked France through Belgium pulling Britain into war. Then Japan entered the war. Later, Italy and the United States would enter on the side of the allies.

  7. I feel like most historical events with ”Negative” consequences are actually positive, because of 3 diffrent reasons:
there is only so much to do on earth and it was bound to happen in the future (likewise stated in the video but on a greater scale), since it already happend it’s in the past and we can instead learn from it. Does not have to be it and us anymore and at the end of the day we overcame it so it doesn’t really matter .

If I’d imagine a scenario where colonization somehow wouldn’t have happend I feel like people would turn on their own much more for resources, and that’s it basically people would be born into it, it’d feel normal

  8. Africa would have been richer with money and materials without a doubt, but we will never know what they would use the materials for and the money for. The guy said that they don’t have enough education, so they aren’t smart enough to use what they would have. But with the things they would be able to have, their education could be a lot better in the continent, so they would be smarter and the world could work better for everyone. With that, trading would be much more efficient, which Europe probably would like as much as they did in reality.
