No Country…

I sent one boy to the gas chamber at Huntsville. One and only one. My arrest and my testimony. I went up there and visited with him two or three times. Three times. The last time was the day of his execution. I didn’t have to go but I did. I sure didn’t want to. He’d killed a fourteen year old girl and I can tell you right now I never did have no great desire to visit with him let alone go to his execution but I done it.

The papers said it was a crime of passion and he told me there wasn’t no passion to it. He’d been datin’ this girl, young as she was. He was nineteen. And he told me that he had been plannin’ to kill somebody for about as long as he could remember. Said that if they turned him out he’d do it again. Said he knew he was goin’ to hell. Told it to me out of his own mouth. I don’t know what to make of that. I surely don’t. I thought I’d never seen a person like that and it got me to wonderin’ if maybe he was some new kind. I watched them strap him into the seat and shut the door. He might of looked a bit nervous about it but that was about all. I really believe that he knew he was goin’ to be in hell in fifteen minutes. I believe that. And I’ve thought about that a lot. He was not hard to talk to. Called me Sheriff.

But I didn’t know what to say to him. What do you say to a man that by his own admission has no soul? Why would you say anything? I’ve thought about it a good deal. But he wasn’t nothin’ compared to what was comin’ down the pike.

  1. He was a good person, but that was hard to talk to him. I decided to say couple last words to him. Anyways he is going to hell, with i cannot help anymore. He is lost and everything will be different afer that. Who knows what is going to happen later on. He was smart and clearly he knew what´s about to happen

  2. I had almost forgotten about that boy, until I heard a lady on the train talking about another unfortunate soul getting murdered by a boyfriend. ”They had ran away together,” the lady said to the man sitting next to her, ”poor girl was too in love for her own good.” Almost exactly 6 months after I had walked away from the gas chamber in Huntsville, I walked into the officebuilding after an urgent call. I talked to the police standing outside of my office to hear why I was needed at work so quickly. ”The boy sitting in there murdered his girlfriend last week, and we think he’s behind some of the kidnappings that was left unsolved,” the cop said. I peeked into my office through the tinted window, and as I saw that disturbing smirk, I knew this was gonna be worse than the last one.

  3. Killing the girl was the worst thing he ever have done. But the real evil is about to show up. Way worse and way misterious than our Sheriff. Suddenly a very tall guy came up to him and asked if he can follow him. What went out afer was the guy who came up to him was a right hand of the real evil person. With we never gonna find out about. Thats the real moral of this story

  4. The chair was turned on by a big button and his facial expression turned into fear right before the electricity started flowing through his body. The chair started making a loud noise and after about 3 minutes of the boy shaking and gasping for air it was turned off. The boy sat still, with his head tilting towards his right and his Eyes closed, he was dead and I then realized that I just sent him to hell. There was nothing I could do to regret my desicion, and the feeling of remorse came over me. Eventhough he had done something terrible and probably would do it again, I felt terrible. I should not have come to Watch this execution.

  5. No Country
I don’t know how I feel about this after the talk. But as I said I truly thought he was the worst scum imaginable. But little did I know.

At the cafeteria, I heard a loud BOOOM! And in comes a large man with a smith & wesson 38 special ( a revolver).
He shouted-give me all the towns money or death will be your second alternative. He also said that for every hour that passes he would kill a child.

  6. On my way home the kid was still on my mind. Was he beyond saving? Did I really do our society a favor by killing that young man? At my doorstep I was surprised to see the door slightly opened, my wife always closed and locked because she thought bad people wished bad things on me. I entered and on the kitchen floor she lied in a puddle of blood. Wishing the blood wasn’t hers I felt for her pulse and called out to her.

  8. No one thought they were strange when they came to town, they were wearing blue washed jeans with a shirt, a jacket on and with some boots. Along with it, a hat. They seemed like any other person in town. Happy, smiling and nice but what the people didn´t know was that the residents were in danger. The mass killer had something planned, a very cruel plan indeed that only they knew. If someone else knew what they had in mind, they would be sentenced for lifetime in prison.

  10. Was it this simple? Was I dreaming? It was like reliving your worst nightmare, but this time the nightmare became reality. 10 bodies. 10. All women. All with the eyes torn out. Dumped in a container. Could it be this easy? The existence. One second you’re here, the next you’re just gone. Vanished. Like you’re nothing. As if you were never here. It just goes on. Keeps moving forward. Was this how it was supposed to be? Is life this worthless?

  11. He came walking in to town, he had exposed young girls to torture all the way to death. Everyone knew who he was and the people on the bus he was going with looked scared, as if they were worried that something would happen to them. Everyone was silent. On a bus stop a little boy stepped on, he sat beside him. He saw one or two real human hands in the evil´s guy bag. Two hands.

  12. The girl had just left the gym. She felt like someone was watching her for a moment. But then she laughed and walked down the street. It started to rain. She ran to the bus station, but missed the bus. I disappeared in the rain and darkness. She said ”Shoot!”. she put her hand to the side of her head ”i forgot my phone”, she knew that the gym was gonna close soon and she really needed her phone back.. So she started to run back and in a moment she thought she heard somenthing break in the woods beside her. she held her breath and started to walk as slow as she could. She didn’t count. But she started to walk faster. she felt cold and the noise behind her got louder and she felt that she couldn’t breathe. and when she almost could see the gym something hard landed on her backhead and she fell to her knees. she tried to stand upp but her back got hit with something and she passed out……….
