    1. The man with the scar was a revelutionary general.
    2. He was from Nicaragua.
    3. A ruffian and a bandit.
    4. He had a big scar om his face, he had a fat, good-humored face, his face went oddly with his corpulent body, he always wore a shabby grey suit as well as a sombrero.
    5. He was going to be executed by being shot.
    6. His last wish was to say goodbye to his wife.
    7. Yes, it was granted provided he would be done within 5 minutes.
    8. The rebels wife was dressed in black, her face was dead white, slim, enormous eyes and was hardly more than a girl.
    9. The soldiers were surprised when they looked at her.
    10. He pressed his lips against here and pulled out a knife from his ragged shirt and stabbed her in the neck, and killing her.
    11. The commander decided to not have him executed because he thought that what he did was a noble gesture.
    12. He got it when he opened a bottle of ginger ale that bursted.
