Land of the Horses

Gulliver’s travels is another work by Jonathan Swift. It is written in the form of an ”autobiographical travel journal”. In this chapter Gulliver visits the land of the horses (Houyhnhnms)  where horses are wise and humans (yahoos) are brutes.

2. What is Swift’s purpose with Gulliver’s travels? What picture does he give of human civilization in the story you heard?
